Hello. I’m Sugarfoot, a 15-year-old spayed female Calico. People tell me I’m gorgeous. I came to Safe Pace when my owner was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and could no longer care for me. I miss her lots but I’m with a wonderful foster right now who takes good care of me.
Because of my owner’s illness I was very thin initially. She was forgetting to feed me, and the Veterinarian also discovered I was Hyperthyroid or had a very high metabolism. This is easily treated with a cream medication that just gets rubbed in my ear once a day. I don’t even notice it. I’ve gained almost 2 pounds and am feeling good enough to be your companion!
