TRUDY WOODARD, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Trudy’s love for all animals developed from her early childhood years of living on a ranch. She’s always had a tendency to rescue animals and probably wore her parents out by bringing strays home to add to our family or find loving homes. Trudy’s blessed to have the love of her Pembroke Welsh Corgis and her German Shorthair Pointer, and couldn’t imagine my life without them; they’re family members.

Trudy’s father was in the military, and they traveled the world, moving every two to three years to a new and unfamiliar place.

She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health in 2015 and is working on completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She currently works as a licensed professional counselor in private practice. She’s worked in the community mental health since 2014, assisting individuals along their journey of healing from trauma and loss. She’s volunteered as a firefighter/Emergency medical tech for Teller County and as a volunteer in hospice care in Arizona.

During her spare time, you can find Trudy spending time with her pups or family outside hiking, paddleboarding, camping, gardening, reading, and painting.
